Established in 1937 by south-London based builder, Charles Percival Hart, CP Hart has real heritage and has made its name as a leading luxury bathroom retailer across the UK through a combination of exceptional customer service and an exclusive product line. CP Hart has several showrooms in the South East, including its prestigious flagship store in Waterloo, where it has provided inspiration for customers and interior designers since 1972.

CP Hart needed a new CAD programme for their sales teams to help fuel further growth and chose Innoplus to enable this. We spoke to Managing Director, Paul Rowland to find out why.

Why were you looking for a new CAD programme?

CP Hart had a basic design programme for the sales teams to use but we needed CAD software that could produce drawings that were more in line with the aspirational images that sells our exclusive, luxury bathrooms. We also needed a programme that was reliable in sending data from design, to quote and order, ensuring that the information was correct the entire way through, removing any potential errors.

What process did you go through to select a new CAD software supplier?

A tender was put out to more than eight different providers in the market, including our incumbent providers. We went through a selection process that included pitches showcasing the software and detailed reviews of the functionality and data behind the software. Once a shortlist was created, we were able to select the providers that best suited our needs.

 

The head designers that were present in the meeting were impressed at how Innoplus could build a room with ease and tile with precision and speed. This would allow all designers across the UK, irrespective of skill and experience, to produce an accurate and high-quality photo realistic render, all whilst the client is in front of them.

What were the key reasons why Innoplus was chosen?

We needed sales teams to have a programme that was quick, intuitive and realistic in creating great images in a short space of time. The first opportunity with a customer is the best opportunity. Customers need to see their dream bathroom realised visually. If they can see that before they leave, then the chance of conversion really increases.

Delivering a visual not only increases conversion rates, it also increases the average order value, as the customer can see how the little details of lighting, accessories and products add to the overall effect of a luxury bathroom. Innoplus provided all of these things and that is an important part of our continued growth.

Own brand catalogues were also a key driver in choosing Innoplus. Exclusivity is the key success driver for CP Hart, so having our own brand catalogues created in Innoplus means that we can visualise these unique designs for our customers.

High quality catalogue data also means a reduction in transposition errors. Moving information from design to quote and order needs to be accurate, so having that information in the background is essential to delivering on what we sell to our customers. This is so important, not just from a cost perspective but from a reputational perspective, as we continue to deliver on our promises.

It is also going to save a lot of time. Having a quick system with accurate data cuts down the time spent on checking and manual corrections and speeds up the number of designs and quotes we can get out, increasing our potential for growing our business.
