Staying in Touch with Customers when Working Remotely

Meeting with customers physically is still relatively difficult at the moment, so here are some ways you can keep the design process going while working remotely.

Share VR images online

Showcase 360 is currently available to all customers and can be used to share your designs through a secure online platform. This cloud platform allows you to share stunning renders; 360 VR views of the entire room and the floorplan and layout details that all help your customers to visualise their new kitchen or bathroom.

The VR images are particularly good for bringing the design to life. As the customer moves their mobile the image moves with them, so that the customer can stand in their current kitchen or bathroom and then visualise the new design as it would be. Even better is to provide a headset and the customer can use the VR mode to virtually step inside the kitchen and see the new design for themselves.

Customers can annotate the designs you create and send their comments back to you, so that you can then make amends and update the designs for their review. Being able to create Alternatives is particularly important, as it allows the customer to see different options and make better decisions that will remove the element of doubt. See our online tutorial #2 for how this works:

You can share your screen and talk through your designs using screen sharing or video conferencing technology. Free options are available, such as:

This allows you to present your designs and talk through the reasons for the layouts and added features that your customers will need to know about. Here as some useful articles on how to share your screen using these three different providers:

Customer recommendations are vital for new business, especially in difficult times. You can get your customers to share their new designs on most social platforms with a click of a button on Showcase 360.

They can then add their own messages and share their images to their friends and family, where your brand will be visible.
