Company history
Compusoft has provided software solutions for kitchen and bathroom design since the company was established in Norway in 1989. By the end of 1994 Compusoft had obtained a market share of 75% in the Scandinavian market with its DOS based CAD program DesignMaster. The main reason for this success was that DesignMaster was the most user-friendly program in the market.
From early 1995 Compusoft has started to build up a distribution and service network throughout Europe with its own subsidiaries. Today, Compusoft has subsidiaries in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, U.K. and South-Africa.
In 1997 Compusoft launched its new (native) 32-bit Windows XP/2000 program Winner.
In developing Winner the main goal was to develop the most user-friendly program in the market.
In the last ten years the average annual increase in turnover has been more than 20%. Over the years net profit has grown at such a rate that Dun & Bradstreet have given us an almost permanent AAA financial status since the year 2000.
By the end of 2007 Compusoft interior design programs were installed with around 8,000 kitchen and bathroom dealers all over Europe. Please note that this number refers to actual customers and not total program installations. Some of our colleagues confuse number of customers with the number of programs installed (or even the number of users using these programs) in order to hype themselves and impress prospects. At Compusoft we don’t want to use such "techniques" since one of our core company values is integrity.
